Trad Camp Starts in 2 Weeks!
Hello Trad Camp Families!
Can you believe Trad Camp starts in less than two weeks!?!?! Monday, July 24 is our first day and we are so excited to see you soon.
Info about camp:
Here is a .pdf with lots of useful information and FAQs to help you and your family prepare for Trad Camp. You can also find this information and much more on our website: www.vtfolklife.org/trad-camp-updates. We recommend that you bookmark that page as we’ll be posting regular updates there leading up to and throughout the week of camp (we will also send new updates by email to make sure you see them). Feel free to respond to this email with any questions you have.
Pre-camp survey - please fill out this week:
To help us match your camper(s) with the best classes and learning experiences during Trad Camp, please take a few minutes to fill out this brief survey, which will help understand the needs and interests of your camper(s).
We still have space!
We still have space for a few more kids to join us at Trad Camp. Please share this registration link with anyone you think might be interested.
Pre-camp DANCE! Sunday, July 23, 1:30-3:00pm
To get in the mood for Trad Camp join two Trad Camp instructors, Brian Perkins and Maeve Fairfax, and local dance caller Luke Donforth for a fun FAMILY DANCE at StudioONE. All are welcome to this family-focused afternoon of circle and longways traditional dances. Masks are optional. StudiOne is located at 294 North Winooski Avenue in the Old North End of Burlington. There’s plenty of parking, the hall is air conditioned, and the venue is handicap accessible.
If you come, be sure to say hi to Brian and Maeve! More info here.
Thank you for being part of Trad Camp 2023. As always, don’t hesitate to be in touch with any questions.
All the best,
Mary Wesley & Ian Drury
