Submit Your Materials
How to submit materials to Listening in Place
The Listening in Place Sound Archive currently accepts two kinds of materials: audio recordings and photographic images. There are two ways to contribute materials: via our online uploader or via email.
Before you can submit your recordings and photos to the Archive we need the following things:
A completed Submission Form for each recording or image (files).
An acknowledgment that you are the creator of the recording or image being submitted.
An acknowledgment that the person or people featured on the recording or in the image gave you their permission to make a recording or take a photograph of them and submit the recording or image to the Vermont Folklife Center.
Your current contact information.
A statement on permissions.
PLEASE NOTE: If submitting via email please write to listening@vermontfolklifecenter.org prior to sending any files and request a PDF Submission Form. A VFC staff member will provide you with one and then make arrangements to receive your files.
